TLU heads to West Texas and the city of Alpine for a match-up Saturday with Sul Ross State. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Sul Ross State's Jackson Field. TLU will have a live video webcast from Alpine. The video webcast can be accessed at Seguin radio station KWED 1580 AM will have the audio broadcast. The KWED audio can be heard on the TLU live video webcast and at The Bulldogs have been close to victories twice in 2009, against Trinity and East Texas Baptist, and have had two large losses (to Howard Payne and Mary Hardin-Baylor). Sul Ross enters Saturday’s game after an idle week. The Lobos should still be riding high after a road win in Brownwood, Texas over Howard Payne on Sept. 26. The Lobos defeated HPU 31-14 in Gordon Wood Stadium. The Lobos have done away with the pass-happy offensive style of a few years ago and now sport a triple-option ground attack. TLU is balanced in its offensive approach but turnovers have been the problem. TLU is last in the ASC in turnover margin. Last week the Bulldogs committed seven in the loss to Howard Payne.
