KERRVILLE, Texas – The Texas Lutheran men’s tennis team recorded a 9-0 win Wednesday over Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas.
The TLU women dropped a 7-2 decision to Schreiner, also on Wednesday in Kerrville.
The Bulldog men did not drop a set in singles and did not have a doubles match go longer than 8-3.
Michael Packard pulled out a straight-set victory at No. 5 singles with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) win.
On the women’s side, TLU’s Karissa Lopez took a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles. The Bulldogs other victory in the dual match came at No. 2 doubles with Jennifer Hahn and Blair O’Brien, who posted an 8-5 win.
The loss for the TLU women dropped the Bulldogs to 1-8 overall and to 0-5 in the American Southwest Conference West Division.
The win for the TLU men moved the Bulldogs to 4-6 overall and to 2-3 in the ASC West Division.
