SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran men's tennis players Cody Fuller, Dante' Cage and Jason Nave were named to spots on the 2009 American Southwest Conference All-West Division teams.
Fuller, a senior from Cedar Park (Cedar Park), was named to the No. 2 singles spot on the All-ASC West Second Team. Fuller was 5-4 overall in singles play at No. 2 singles, and he won his last four singles matches (all in conference contests).
Cage (Corpus Christi/Carroll) was named to the ASC West Honorable Mention squad at No. 1 singles, and Cage and doubles partner Jason Nave (Garden Ridge/Steele) were selected to the ASC West Honorable Mention team at No. 1 doubles.
Cage posted a 5-4 overall record at No. 1 singles, and he went 4-2 in the ASC West. A senior, Cage won the final three singles matches of his four-year career.
Cage and Nave, a freshman, were 6-4 overall at the No. 1 doubles slot. Cage and Nave were 4-2 in the ASC West and won their last four doubles matches together.
