SEGUIN, Texas – Forty-four Texas Lutheran students – student-athletes, student athletic trainers, and student sports information assistants – were named to the American Southwest Conference 2009 All-Academic honor rolls.
Along with the student athletic trainers and sports information assistants, the TLU sports recognized on the spring academic list include: baseball, men’s golf, women’s golf, softball, tennis, and women’s track and field.
Student-athletes and student sports information assistants must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average and be in at least the second academic year at their institution, and student-athletes must have lettered in the 2009 season. Student athletic trainers must have at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA and be in their second academic year at TLU.
