Dimensions of Wellness: Healthy Habits, Happy Life
You’re happier when you feel well. And feeling well makes you happier. Everyone knows that. But wellness encompasses many dimensions, from physical wellness to spiritual, financial, and emotional wellness. This year’s Krost Symposium, Dimensions of Wellness: Healthy Habits, Happy Life, is a two-day event focusing on eight aspects of wellness—and how you can cultivate them to live your best life.
EVENTS:
October 9th at 7pm (Open to the public)- Keynote Speaker: Felicia Wu Song (Jackson Auditorium). She is the author of Restless Devices and will be discussing how are devices are affecting our wellness. This event is free to everyone.
October 10th: (No device day) (Open to Students, Faculty and Staff)
- 9:30-10:20am, Panel Discussion (Wupperman)- will include 5 speakers focusing on financial, physical (exercise and nutrition), and spiritual wellness.
- 10:30-11:45am- Wellness Fair (ASC)- For faculty, staff, and students
- 12-12:50pm, Comedian, Johnnie W; (Student Activity Center), includes a box lunch and seat for the first 150 people.
- 6-7:30pm- No Device Event (Library Lawn)- will include a variety of fun activities to keep everyone off their phones.
- 8pm- 9:30pm- TLU Worship Night with Crossroads Worship
