Assistant/Associate Professor in Computer Science
The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Data Science at Texas Lutheran University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor.
Position Overview:
We seek a passionate educator who is committed to excellence in teaching and has a strong foundation in cybersecurity. This role involves serving on university committees, engaging with a diverse student body, and pursuing research.
Required Qualifications:
• A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field. ABD candidates will be considered if their degree will be completed by August 2025.
• Expertise in cybersecurity.
• Ability to teach a range of undergraduate courses (12 credit hours per semester) in programming, security, networks, and computer architecture.
• A demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Research experience and publication.
• Expertise and/or professional experience in the field of data science.
• Ability to mentor undergraduate students in research activities.
