First-Year Applications
Your application for admission also serves as your scholarship application.
First-Year Applicants
Your application will be reviewed after we receive the following documents:
- Application for admission (Please submit only one application) -
- Personal Essay. You can use the essay prompts on the TLU Application, Common Application, or ApplyTexas, or submit your own essay or graded writing sample to applicant@tlu.edu.
- Official transcript sent directly from your high school with current class ranking and cumulative GPA.
Official SAT/ACT test scores are not required for review of an application file. If you would like to be considered for the SAT/ACT award, please send your test scores to TLU. If you didn't select TLU to automatically receive your scores when you took the test, you can download your scores from the College Board website or the ACT website and send them to us as a PDF.
