TLU Alumni Board President | Joshua Lozano '10

About Joshua Lozano

A proud San Antonio native, Joshua Lozano graduated from Ronald Reagan High School in 2006 and began his journey at Texas Lutheran University with plans to play football. Along the way, he discovered new passions and opportunities that would ultimately shape both his college experience and professional career. Trading in his football cleats for a choir robe, he immersed himself in campus life through music, leadership, service, and storytelling.

During his time at TLU, Joshua was actively involved across campus. He served as Historian and Vice President of Zeta Chi fraternity, participated in theater productions, and contributed as a writer and photographer for the university’s student publications while supporting TLU’s magazine, The Torch. He was also involved with the Mexican American Student Association (MASA) and served as a Peer Mentor for the First-Year Student Experience program, helping new students navigate their transition to college and build meaningful connections within the TLU community.

In December 2010, Joshua graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. He began his professional career as a Creative with Apple, where he developed a passion for connecting people, ideas, and experiences. Continued growth and development led him into project management roles before ultimately returning to his roots in communications and marketing. Throughout his career, he has supported and partnered with notable brands and organizations, including Warby Parker, ACMA, and Whataburger, helping tell compelling stories and strengthen meaningful connections with customers and communities.

Beyond his professional work, Joshua proudly supports his wife Alannah's business, aLILscribble LLC, serving as both a muralist and marketing consultant. Together, they enjoy spending time with family and friends and keeping up with their two energetic doodles, Prince Douglas and Posey Rye.

As TLU’s 2026–2027 Alumni Association Board President, Joshua is honored to serve the university that helped shape his journey. He looks forward to strengthening alumni engagement, fostering meaningful connections across generations of Bulldogs, and helping tell the stories that make the TLU community so special.
