There’s a brand-new book on the shelves of TLU’s Blumberg Memorial Library, and the author himself was on hand to present it. Steve Anderson’s Forward in Faith: A History of Texas Lutheran University traces the university’s history from its humble beginnings in 1891 through the present day.
“This is an amazing chance for students to learn about the history contained in the TLU archives,” says Interim Head of Public Services Amelia Koford. Interim Library Director Mark Dibble calls the book a “culmination of the relationship that we’ve had with Steve since he started volunteering in the archives. We are pleased to add this book to the collection for future students to learn about TLU.”
Anderson says he’s glad the book will be readily accessible for students, faculty and staff so that they can “learn about TLU’s past and how we got where we are today.”
Forward in Faith will be available to check out at Blumberg later this week.
