Music is in the air at Texas Lutheran University, where the young members of the Community Music Academy, a program supported by the university, will be performing in spring concerts—and you’re invited! On April 13, the CMA Orchestras will join the TLU Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Eliza Jeffords, for a free concert at 4 p.m. in Jackson Auditorium. Then on April 27, members of the CMA strings section will join the Mid-Texas Symphony for their concert, “Ode to Joy.” That concert takes place at 4 p.m. in Jackson Auditorium and tickets can be purchased here.
For those interested in filling their summers with music and learning, registration is now open for the TLU Summer Music Academy, which is coming June 22-27. The camp is open to middle and high school students who are involved in band, orchestra, or choir. For more information and to register, please visit: TLU Summer Music Academy.

On April 21, registration will open for summer CMA private string lessons and for Summer String and Vocal Arts Camp, which takes place in June. Get the details here.
