The Award: The David & Anna (Teggeman) Stock TLU Student of the Year Award recognizes the overall achievement, service, and contributions of our students. It is expected that the student receiving this award will demonstrate excellence in leadership, scholarship, and service to the TLU community.
Criteria: The student receiving this award will be a current TLU Senior who has demonstrated excellence in leadership, scholarship, and service to the TLU community. Minimum GPA will be a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. The student should also be a prospective candidate for May graduation.
Nominations: Beginning at 8:00am Wednesday, March 1st, TLU community members can submit nominations to the office of the Vice President of Student Affairs, via the submission link, by March 25th of each year. Nominations must come from individuals with direct knowledge of the nominee's qualifications and achievements. This may include students, peers, alumni, administrators, faculty, staff, coaches, or community members. Interested students can solicit nominations but they are not allowed to nominate themselves.
Recognition: The recipient of the David & Anna (Teggeman) Stock TLU Student of the Year Award will receive a $1,000 gift, special recognition at the graduation ceremony, and the great honor of serving as the Spring Commencement Speaker.
