Ebanie Villagomez is taking college life by storm, balancing academics, a minor in communications, and a growing YouTube channel, all while maintaining her ultimate goal of owning her own business. She’s not just another student, she’s an entrepreneur—a vlogger with a unique perspective, and an advocate for genuine, unfiltered content. In this candid chat, Ebanie shares her college journey, what inspires her vlogs, and how she juggles it all with a sprinkle of humor and heart.
Ebanie is living her best college life while chasing her dreams of owning a business. Majoring in business management with a minor in communications, she’s determined to master the art of entrepreneurship. “I’ve always wanted to own a business, and the communications minor adds that extra flair,” she says.
A typical day for Ebanie starts at 6:30 a.m. and ends late, with every minute in between packed with schoolwork and activities. But despite her busy schedule, academics always come first. “School is my top priority, but I work in fun when I can,” she shares.
One of her most memorable college experiences? Rush Week and Bid Day. “I always said I’d never join a sorority, but there I was, envelope in hand, just as excited as everyone else,” she recalls.
Vlogging has become a major part of her life. Ebanie started her YouTube channel in 2024 to show what college life is really like. “I wanted to capture the raw moments that feel authentic, not scripted,” she says. Her content is inspired by YouTubers like Alisha Marie. “In the next year, I want to show more of what college life really looks like after the freshman-year hype,” she says.
Balancing vlogging and studying isn’t easy, but Ebanie has found a rhythm. “I try to vlog on lighter school weeks, but school always comes first. Vlogging should be fun, not stressful,” she explains.
Her advice to students thinking about vlogging? “Keep education first and do it as a hobby to make your day a little brighter.”
